I look on here when I can, and for me the best part are the raw construction pics of everyones rides. So when I can, I will add more of this build. And try to reply to any questions anyone may have.

Kevin, I shortened the axle 10 inches total.

Neal, The shockwaves in the front are special made and use the larger 26C bellows.
I get about 10 inches of lift. But I have my own LCA's.The Oasis is the Sh*t. Even though I bought it way too early (it's a 1000 model)It still beats anything I have had to date. I use the stock alternator right now. I have no problems when it comes on. I mean you can see the volt gage on the dash go down but not enough to throw a warning light or anything.

By far the coolest thing i've seen on here in a long time. I love that front clip and it looks soo good driving low. Coming from a guy who built his truck in his garage, i tip my hat to you bro.. Stunning

i look at this thread everytime i get on ssm. whats funny is i start at the top and look at all the pics again,and again, and again, not just the updates! perfect truck imo, its just ridiculous!

man i'm speechless. your attention to detail is at where i dream of mine being one day. sadly i doubt it never will be. i love it although it does make me feel like i'm driving a POS now, lol. the raised front bumper makes it look so much better doesn't it. i just did mine the other day.
i like the ride measureing system. i could never figure it out though, lol. hey man i don't know if you know about gmfullsize.com. it's a real good forun IMO. you should come check it out.

Did you make those Spool lookin wooden wheels? what were they made out of, that's a nice idea for people who don't have the money to buy their wheels for a project before any of the parts.

kool thanks for the info on the rear end question,do you know the offset of those wheels?.. i shorted my rear 6 1/2 total and now im trying to figure out what offset wheel i need for the rear of mine.
