if you cut the windsheild down, you can always use like pinch molding to cover the cut marks

thanks guys... i finally got my new brake booster in, just working on bleeding the brakes n getting it to stop efficiently... i'll post up pics when i get it out of the bay and laid out... scotty, i was considering it, but i think leaving the front pillars there, and the top of the windshield area wll help keep it sturdy-er...more pics to come tomorrow!

i lso got burned on my seas...fucker ripped me off for $400...so im on a mission to get them done for a good price...

so ive got most of the bodywork done in the areas i capped off, and where i shaved the handles...

im curious as to what grit sandpaper to use to get it ready for primer... i've been using 80 grit to bring the filler down and get everything shaped...

when i have everything ready to be primered, what grit should i use? i heard go from 80 then to a 120, then finish in like a 300ish to primer... does that sound right? what would you guys recommend?

im also considering trying to spray the truck myself.. not sure if it's the best idea, but im not really looking to throw down $2-$4k for a paint job... im only looking to spray it the stock color that it is now... im thinking i may practice on some interior pieces and see if i want to try spraying the whole thing...

if you guys have any suggestions let me know!

finally got a little motivation to get some work done on this thing.. just finished making fillers for the side mirrors and welded them in, finished the bodywork on the doors, gas door and the rear deck...

i was trying to have it wrapped up by the end of the summer so i could enjoy it in the sun, but i just hadnt had much time or motivation until yesterday... i broke up with my chick so i'll be making a lot more progress...lol i figured id take my time on it and do everything right and work my ass off throughout the winter and have it done sick for next summer...

ill post up pics later of the side mirrors, or lack there of, the final bodywork, the new cowl hood ive got on it,the ssbc booster i put in a while back, and whatever i can think of thats hasnt been posted yet...i think it lays out pretty nicely on the 22s...

truck looks completely awesome, but damn those wheels just kill the look!

maybe something clean like a five spoke billet? just my opinion, take it for nothing!
