thanks for all the comments guys...
CHUBBZ- my shop is in vegas obviously- I'm up off the 215 and tropicana on the west side of town/summerlin area... we just opened up about 7-8 months ago so we're pretty friggin new...
scotty- Ive been playing around with the idea of getting a gaylords cover w/ the speedsturr humps on it that looks like the t-bird youre looking at... i just really want a super-low, sled like look to it, and i think with a tonnaeu(sp?) like that it will look goofy being that its an ex-cab...
i found a fiberglass bed cover for $150 here in town thats in great shape, and i'll probably be picking it up here shortly..
my driveshaft i got off ebay through a driveline company in kansas.. itran me like $385 shipped which i thought was a smoking deal..
as far as wheel tubs for the rear,. i'll be building a whole sheetmetal bed to cover up and smooth everything out.. the only thing i'll have visible is the notch...
my seats will be here tomorrow and i've been working on the doors and dash and whatnot...
now i've got a question for you s10 guys...
i had a set of 22s i threw on the front to test fit to see how much more of the firewall i'll need to notch and whatnot..
my problem is i don't think i'll be getting enough lift out of the front to turn the 22s.. I'm running tubular uppers, stock lowers, spindles and 2500's in front.. how much more lift would i get out of a 2600 in the front? if i go to a stock spindle or upper arms, would it still lay flat, but get enough lift to turn them fuckers?
any help would be great.. i just realized havasu havoc is about3 weeks away, and i need to get my ass working on this thing!!!
I'll post up more pics tomorrow or sunday with the seats in and any other work i get done on it...
