I know there is a way to do it....with a series of checkvalves....anyone ever done this before? so you just reuse you're air dumped out of the valves back ino the tank....cool!!!

It would only work if you had something to drive the air back into the tank at a higher pressure than what is in the tank at that moment. ie, a new tank of nitrogen has 2000 to 2700 psi in a 100 size cylinder. if you are at 2000 psi, with the regulator set at 250, you would need over 2000 psi to push the air back into the cylinder

yeah. gonna need a lot more than check valves to do it. I think 1 or 2 people have a system in the works, but it would essentially mean re compressing the air before it went to the tank.

well im not talking about that much pressure, just using 200 psi from a comp to pump air. but come to really think about it...you wouldnt be able to dump cause the pressure being let out is less than the pressure in the tank and it wouldnt do anything....but there has to be a way to do it....

There was someone on s10forum a while back with a system like that. Took up half the bed with tanks and lines and chit.....Don't seem worth it to me. Just go to the junk yard and pic up a york and your golden. Tanks under the bed, york under the hood....Plenty of bed space for ice chests.

a york would kill my 4 banger yeah I got all my shit underneath on the frame in the back.

maybe run dump valves to a compressor which feeds the tank you then have a pressure releaf valve before the compressor so when the tanks full you can still dump. also maybe run a relay so when the pressure switch turns the other comp on. the recycle compressor positive lead turns on. then hook a relay to the negative lead of the comp. The negative lead relay would be wired to the dump valves. So the tank pressure would have to be low and a dump valve open. In order for the recycle air compressor to turn on.

that would probably make a viair 350 seem like a york

from what i was able to understand....
the dump valves get plumbed into the air inlet on the compressor. forcing air into the compressor like a turbo.

The guy on S10forums that has the recycled air system is DJDAudio, he's got a couple interesting videos of it on his web site, http://www.theboostairsystem.com/
