Not this shit again. If I remeber right the compressor fills the tank quicker because the air that it is drawing from is higher psi than the atmospheric pressure. The air dumps from the valves into an empty tank. the empty tank has a check valve to kep the pressure low enough so the truck will still dump if the collection tank is full. the compressor draws from that tank and the atmosphere to fill a seperate tank. Its basically a turbo on the compressor. I talked to the kid at carlisle a few years ago and thats about all I remember. In fact this might all be wrong its been a while. either way its alot of lines and valves to get a lil more outta a viair. Get a belt drive and be done with it. but thats my opinion.

And he actually has an engine driven on there along with the 2 Viairs.

and to think I got buy on a single 5 gallon with a Viair 325 and 145 psi. I don't get the air obsession but I guess some guys are more switch happy then others. I'm only going with 2 tanks and compressors now to keep everything symmetrical. haha.

What the hell would I want to recycle my air? I love the sound of it blasting out.

Just run a york, I run one on my 4 banger and its fine, lets remember: Slow n Low

i only see him running 8 valves 4 to lift 4 to dump...and the air line is the same amount u use anyways...why would you not want your compressors to not work better not so much stress ..
