Well just got back from getting my truck. What an adventure to say the least. 1st and foremost I want to thank Mike, Tyson, Joe for the trailer and his help, and everyone who lent a hand today. Going to make this brief because I'm already beyond stressed.
To begin with my worst fear was true. Thatw as that I would have missing parts. And don't it figure it was all the expensive shit. My Envoy HID's, ballast and headlights gone. Chrome and billet GMC grill, gone. All my bag parts, and my instrument cluster gone. I only had about 30k miles on this 99 truck, and I'm sure this cluster will fit nicely in someone elses truck to sell and lie about mileage. With that said lots of miscelanous parts were missing also.
Getting the truck off the table was exciting, let me say I never thought it was going to happen, but the forklift did the job and the help of everyone got the wheels on and pushed it onto trailer. After it was loaded and all my scattered parts collect, it was time to call five-o to report my missing parts. They filed a report and hopefully they will turn up, if not at least I have report for civil suite, We unloaded it into my garage where it sits now until I figure out my next move.
Here's a few pics of the ordeal. I also want to say to all those people talking about "cut your losses" "it is what it is" you guys obviously have no clue of how it feels to drop of your favorite possesion in perfect working order, to retreive it basically raped and in pieces. Out of your money, two years of your life, stolen parts, etc. Not to mention all the paint and dents and scathes on my flawless paint when I dropped it off. as far as I'm concerned I could give two shits of what you think. To have to bother people to get trailer, load shit up, take up other peoples time. This is why we shouldn't stand for this, and why I am not. Rodney will have a nice law suit on his hand. And you know what, even if I don't get shit out of it, the fact that I did something about it, and not be a victim will hopefully make these shops think twice of fucking over customers. Enough said, I'm not here to entertain people's opinions on how they think I should act. If anyone else that just picke dup their vehicles would like info on how to file this civil suite, let me know I'll be more then happy to assist.
The work done was great and I appreciate everything he's done. I'm not bashing Rodney or Hellbent as for the work they did (exceot for frame horns which I'll explain in a bit), just Rodney as not being man enough to just pick up the phone and give the respect to his customers to pick up their vehicles without having parts stolen. For me the deal is done and in the past, I am now looking forward to finsihing my truck and hitting the show scene again. Ok so here's a few pics.
basically whats left of my truck
and here's what I was refering to. The frame horns are jacked up and not measured right, look how it lines up when fenders attached to core support, nice gapage.
Cole, I snapped a few pics of yours so you know what you're in for and prepare for what you need. Let me tell you there are no tools, so bring everything you feel you may need.
So thats it, thanks again to everyone that helped.
