Like Dave said, contact Cookie (Cookiemonster13) on here. He works next door. Rodney at Hellbent was a nice guy who would do anything to help you. Within the last 2 years he's dropped out of Pp and he has no help to finish anything left in the shop after Rob left him. I feel like he's just given up and is embarrassed, but it's pretty shitty to leave all the projects unfinished and won't contact the customers. Do whatever you have to do to get your truck back man. Good luck...

Yep, Rodney would be the only one working while the other partner wasnt doing anything. You might get a judgement but that doesnt mean you will ever get any money.

Well I don't know how long or how much you Terance or other people have had their rides there, but I'm not scared to admit mines been there 2 yrs next week and gave him over $4,000 to start. So if you have more invested and waited longer then I guess that sucks bad too.

As far as law suit, you can't squeeze blood out of a turnip, but will be compensated don't worry about that. See I already have a lawyer and being that it's a business, it has assets. The court will grant any means of payment required, so I'm not worried about it. Plus the goal here is NOT to call the law and have law suit. It is to recover my property. Recovering my financial losses are secondary.

As far as people not helping him out and what not I'm sick of hearing that. Cry me a river you know. If you knew you had no help, why continue to bring in projects and prolong the ones you have. How much more money does he stand waiting for if he actually would finish the vehicles? I mean the money is there, so I'm sick of the money issue too. Not to mention not having enough respect or courtesy to give the owners of these vehicles a call. You mean to tell me he's busy 24/7 that he can't pick up a phone to tell someone what the status is, or to arrange a pick up time? Give me a break, even if he's wide open then when you take a shit, call someone. I bet he's got no problem answering calls for his tow truck job or girls. It boils down to complete lack of respect and borders on criminal for what at least seems to be an attempt to steal vehicle. You don't close up shop and try to relocate vehicles without notifying the owners, BOTTOM LINE!

wow...i had no idea how deep this was. Hellbent guys were like my idols back in 2004, but this is really lame. if any of you want to get your vehicles finished, i can put you in contact with the guy that fixed and finished my truck. he does amazing work, and has good prices. hes always available by cell, text, AIM, email, whatever. and he came to me with daily updates on my truck.

Think about gathering all the other people involved in a class action lawsuit! That way you have more ammo and everyone gets some!!!

Wow... calm down. You know what you have to do, so plan your actions out and get your truck back. Screaming on SSM won't make it magically appear in your driveway.

Good luck getting your money back. its gonna be kinda hard to sue when there probably is no money to get. Not to mention there are others (like me and david) who have had their rides up there longer and invested more money, and you know what? probably not gonna see any type of compensation. all i can do is gather up all my parts and get my shell of a car (which is on the other frame table right now) and cut my losses. you might wanna get you a truck and trailer and focus on the same thing. btw, i am in Pp too and membership does not have its privileges. You can try sending a message to cookie and see if he can help you out any, otherwise there are not gonna be too many people reading this forum who can offer any real help.

What you can do is log complaints and get in touch w/ like the BBB to make it hard of impossible for him to start another or keep this shop open. I have a friend doing going thru a similar process, only on a custom chopper build and his court date is in March.

I understand that your main priority is to get the truck back, but I would by no means blow this off once you get it back. I would go for everything.....by them not returning calls or keeping you updated on whats going on (w/ your truck or shop buisness), to me that is totally umprofessional. And has no buisness keeping a shop running. I dont know all the legal jargin, but if enough people file complaints on that buisness they will shut him down and make it to where he cant try to open another again. They will deny all the permits and whatnot that he needs to be a buisness. Like I said, dont know all the professional terms for it, but I know it can be done. My buddy is in a lawsuit to get his bike from the shop and reinbursed for his money and is suing for a wheel he designed for the bike and they went behind his back and tried to say they designed it and made the wheels for another bike they were building. Trying to make money off of a wheel that he designed.
