The Toyota in this pic was what really did itfor me. It was the first body dropped truck Igot to see in person & not in a magazine! If anybody has anymore pics of it them please post them for me!!

That purple Toy was destroyed in 2005. A friend bought it from some dude in Texas and had it shipped here. It was in rough shape when we got it, but we were going to re-do the truck with bigger rims, laid out, and leave the old paint so everyone would recognize the truck, but while it was at my shop, a drunk driver drove across my property and creamed it. We stripped it down and now the remains are in the scrap yard down the road.

The truck that got me hooked was the black Toy in 1992 MT. I was always looking at MT and all the local minis, but when I saw that thing bd'd, I was addicted to being low.

I hate to tell you but that purple truck could easily be fixed. I dont think that should go to the junkyard.

As a teenager I grew up in a small town. It was the small kinda town where everybody went out to tha woooods boy ima tell you what!!!lol anyway, I started hanging out with the couple of guys that were into imports and eventually got up with a guy that was into lowering minis. He drove a red 97 hardbody that was just slammed with air shocks, escalade wheels and a camper shell that had a wing on it!! it was kinda old school but it was my first real inspiration. other than that the Wilt Built tacoma(which I couldnt find any pics of)and this thing....

yeah, i loved that MIC dually. That was the first truck i saw at my first show that i'd seen in a magazine, and it's crazy how much different they look in person.

back in the late 90s when i first got in the scene, it was the 2 guys riding around my small town with bags runnin 1/4" line and 15" wheels... There were 2 trucks that really stood out to me and made me want to build a badass ride, the first was brian jendros toyota, and then mike finnagans burnt taco (before the insane paint)

Yeah, finnegans tacoma and the wilt bilt stuff were great back in the day. I also got hooked by a black blazer that was on the cover, it had purple tribal graphics and 150 stepside tails in the rear.

Last Look... I didnt know anything about minitrucks when I got my first one.I bought this clean 87 toyota slammed on some chrome bullet holes because I thought it looked cool as hell goin down the road. I called it a lowrider...I know, dont laugh. I started lookin at Mini Truckin in the stores and in Dec 96 Last Look was featured, it was the most awesome thing I had ever seen. Ive had mini trucks ever since. Never finished one yet but some were pretty cool in their day. The only reason I started fuckin with the cadillac was because the cops mess with trucks so bad around here I could never keep tags on them.

Anyway I was so glad when Fester got that thing and started bringing it back to life. Was nice to get to see her again. Thanks Fester!

I am glad you got to see it at Reso. It was a pleasure to bring her and let people enjoy her again. I hope to bring it to more shows as the budget allows.
