What hasn't been done??? Whats going to be the next big thing???

Yep, I looked it up. All Cyclones and Typhoons had 4.6 v6's with 700r4's and borg transfer cases to split to all wheel drive.

I know of a bunch that havent been done. How about the new mitsubishi endevor, outlander, raider, or an old/new montereo. I've got an old d50 custom cab never seen one bodydropped. saw a lowered one with a tandem axel.

I don't get why everyone thinks it would be cool to bag a hybrid. It would be different, I guess, but where is the cool factor? What I mean is why would it be cooler to see a new hybrid Tahoe bagged over a Tahoe with a traditional V8? To me, that is like thinking a truck is cooler because it has a cd player over a tape deck. Sure a CD player is better than a tape deck, but what does that have to do with the way the truck looks??

Exactly why I was wondering why every one thought it was so cool!! You get no change in look with a hybrid so whats the diff.. Good gas milage aint going to get you a cover!!

Bodydroppless chassis on a lifted truck...its gunna be the next biggest thing...mandrel bent frame rails and all!

well i know the next thing im going to build is an electric truck , i really think alternative engery minis is going to be the next big thing. Like it or not, its alot of work to convert a truck to electric and if you have bad ass mini and its converted to electric with all the work done to show quality im sure that will make a cover.You have to make alot of batteries look good.

By your statement I could think you thought the same thing about bigger motors and crazy suspension builds of these days. when the first see the truck you don'tsee these things but its the DETAIL that gets you noticed and converting a truck or making a clean hybrid with the upmost detail will get you noticed. Gas is a big deal and the magazines are stupid - if they see someone doing something innovative they will defiantly take a look.

I am extremely interested in electric vehicles. I have gone as far as to price out an EV conversion on a Fiero (I am more interested in the acceleration than the cost of fuel or the environmental benefits). I am sure a hybrid will make a cover, because it is a gimmick and will sell mags, but TO ME it doesn't make it any cooler.
