check out this article! very awekening!http://www.usatoday.com/printedition/news/20080229/1a_cover29.art.htm

our economy looks fukin great! but dig deeper and take a look at how many peeps are in over their eyebrows in credit card debt! we just wont stop spending! it gives the fake sense that everything is ok... if we all paid cash & drove full efficient vehicles then the prices of shit wouldnt be through the roof! plain and simple! these guys buying boat trailers for their new boats probably refinanced last year and havent had that fat ass balloon note hit em yet! or they are maxed out looking like they have money. im not saying everyone is in debt- some peeps really have fat stacks but the majority that look like they do- dont!

i saw just the other day that over 40% of americans put their FOOD on a CREDIT card! now why in the hell would you finance the fastest depreciating asset you can buy? cause you cant afford not to!

im not being a dick man- dont take it that way. im just pointing out the obvious to your question!

btw- i dont watch msnbc or cnn! i think they are liberall fuk heads!

i dont think i have used cash on anything major, ever. other than buying my 72. but i dont put it on credit cards either. my debit card is directly linked to my account and its automatically withdrawn. lucky youll be the first to share that i dont spend money i dont have

hell i cant spend money if i dont have more than 200 in my account most times. i just hate being flat broke.

your right about these people spending what they dont have. it kills me when all these people have benz's and shit, but yet they work at a minimum wage job. (my brothers girl) buying an audi tt but works at baskin robbins with us and she says "i just like to look like i have money"

honestly with the gas prices i see more minitruck unity at small local shows and the shows that are in the middle of nowhere dying down. my buddy just went down to spring fling last week trailered his silverado and said he spent close to 800 bucks in gas sorry to tell you but no show is worth spending that much. o think more street rod or lowrider inspired minis will also be more popular something you can put on jack stands and look under the belly etc etc. more pride in trucks also i think that whole drag that shit mentality is out and no one needs to destroy their truck to be cool
