Can anything be done?

I'm sure some of you remember the topic about the spindles I sent a guy that where broken. My PayPal account was locked down. So I came to an agreement that I would send him a full refund if he returned the spindles, because I can fix them. Its now been over a month since I sent the refund, and I have been sending emails every couple days asking about them. I got replies to them, until about 10 days ago. Now nothing.

I'm just wondering if there is anything I can do, because I am now out $200, and the cost of shipping them to him twice (once returned, my fault). Or am I just plain fucked?

im gona say pretty much fucked. sounds like the guy just got his money and said fuck it.

Yeah I'd say youre fucked. I wouldnt have sent a refund until I got the spindles back. Prob wasn't a thing wrong with them, dude just wanted shit for free which is sad.

if you still have the emails between you and him id say try to hit up the police im sure there is something they can do prolly sounds cheap but who knows better then nothing

I had to issue a refund to get my account unlocked. And I needed to accept payment on some motor mounts so I could send them. So I didn't really have a choice. Situation sucks overall. I was pretty sure I was fucked from the minute I sent the money back. A found a post on another forum where he was asking if they could be fixed, and for how much.

Jeremy, I really don't want to get the police involved. Especially since we are 800 miles apart or so. I doubt the station in my down would do anything. But then again they might. They seem bored.
