There were a few RVs back in the day that used a transfer case similar to that. The only reason that I would say to connect the frnt and rear bags (not side to side) is so that when one wheel went over a bump, it would push some air in to the other bag making it a smoother ride over harsh bumps. That's how most tandem axle trailers are set up.

just curious could you do it like a dump trucks extra axle??? lower it when driving and pic (one ) of them up when turning??

or could you tie them to gether like a double axle trailer and put the bag in between the two???

i think in some thing like this it all may sound good and would work but in some real cases it might be crap (may sound good may look good but rides and drives like crap) i dunno though but eighter way its pretty cool
