clip it with a mustang two suspention less headach then you can stock floor it whill you at it

Use a Ford Torino A arm clip, much cheaper, larger brakes, sway bar, fits a Ford V-8 well.

I did mine back in the mid 80s, I also did a step notch, although then people said I was nuts for cutting a hole in my bed.

You can cut the curved part of the frame off just under where your feet are, and plate it. then you have the truck laying body with no BD. keep the stock 9 inch. much more options for axles, gears and such. like using two short axles instead of one long and one short, then you have a narrowed rear and only cut one side and all you have to do is buy a wrecking yard short side axle and cut the housing.

or get a disc 9 inch from a lincoln or granada

my truck is a 64 and it had a damn strait axle under it.i put a fat man fab mustang 2 front end under it..damn that shit.. the directions sucked ass.. i still need to Z it to make it lay all the way out.. the frame hangs .75 inch lower than the body on those trucks so not Z'd mine lays like 1.75 from the rocker...

i wouldn't mess with the ol i beams. more trouble than its worth and it would take a retarded z to get it down, even with drop beams. plus if you do a sub swap you get power steerin and power disk brakes with way better handling and camber.
by the time you bag, z, and drop the motor tranny back down you could subframed and bagged the front. i did my 1st one in a weekend ( welded and plated)

Here are two really good options. You'll have to copy/paste the links but they are worth checking into.

BTW..if ANYONE can help me find one of these front suspensions in NC or very close by I would be forever grateful. I've had no luck whatsoever.

I had a 1995 F150 bagged before. It didnt lay frame, didnt have the radius arms relocated, nothing too major just because it was my first venture into bagging. But that was 7 years and bout 8 bagged trucks ago. I dont have any concerns about getting involved with bagging this truck I just wasnt sure if this truck needed a Z like the older trucks. Anybody have any info???????
