so its safer to drag through something structural like a frame, then something not important like a block of steel?

The frame gets damn hot when you drag it, and all the fuel and brake lines and wiring harnesses are attached to this very hot framerail.....

It takes less then 15 minutes to replace a block, how long does it take to swap out the frame?

as long as it its fastened properly, I would think blocks would be much safer to drag.....

well why drag a big block of steel that could fly off and kill someone...and it would take alot of draging to make a frame weak.

If you plan on draggin your truck, your gonna move everything to a safe spot so it wont get drug thru... and If your draggin a block, it gets hot too...

Im gonna plate the bottom of my frame with some 1/4" plate, because i know im gonna drag, and i know its not gonna go anywhere because a bolt broke off that holds a 6" block of steel to the bottom of the frame...

I want to. Ever heard of any porblems without having any inner fenders? Itd be a while before I could afford to get new ones made.

The only problem you're going to have is keeping your engine clean if its a daily..

I don't believe in blocks/trailer balls or anything like that. It kinda seems like cheating to me...

My recommendation would be to lay it out..Yea it's a little more money involved, but you'll be happier with it in the end.
