also, u can check for ohms and voltage on all the wires and compare with a manual that has the correct specs to see if the proper ohms and voltage is traveling through the wires.... thats another thing that leads to corrosion

also, one i hate is lose little fuckn rats that like to chew on wires!!!! thats an idea for ya

so basically ur gonna have to follow miles of wire to make sure, which sucks, but its an idea

There is one in particular that goes on the bolt right below the coil if it isn't grounded it will not get spark.

Did you check the oil gapBlinker fluidmuffler bearings

I have a 98 explorer had the same problem after I rebuilt it. took it to a mechanic, spent over 500 bucks, nothing. Brought it home. My brother found a bad relay under the hood.

I had a 2600i and the small electronic thing in the distributor went out. It cost like 200.

make sure you didnt put the rotor on the wrong way, on my friend mikes truck the rotor went on 3 different ways. when you look at the triangular shaped piece that the rotor slips on you will notice that one of the 3 flat sides is thinner than the other two. thats the one you want to time it off of. on one you will get a weak spark, the other you wont get any spark, and the third it will fire right up. we screwed with his truck for hours before we noticed that.
