What are people paying for painted int?

I wanted to see what people who had their interior painted paid and how much was done. My friend who paints is doing a car and feels he under charged at 300 for what the amount hes painting. Heres and example of what he did so far.

No one has a painted interior?

I paint alot of interior peices,....but the pricing all depends on alot of things....

such as the amount of peices being painted....

if they need to be smoothed out or glassed.....

and the color can change a price pretty quickly too....

wish I could help you, I'll bet alot of people just do it them selves? (or I'm sure more people would post)

how much is he painting? don't sound to bad?

He is painting about 20 pieces and only 4 needed to be smoothed out. He is also using adeshion promoter, colored sealer, base coat, clear coat.

Damn,...maybe he shoulda quoted alittle higher.....I hate when I under quote a job

but live and learn i guess....I don't belive in changing prices on somone once you've got there shit though (those are the times I loose my ass just to keep my word) and that blows

Looks like he does great work though, I'm sure next time he can get a little more for his labor

i def think he should have charged alittle more especially if he had to buy supplies.

No changing the price we do our business the same way, And as for material it is free thanks to where he works. lol

If he had to take the stuff outta the car he definately undercharged. If not and he stole the supplies then 300 is great.

I have my dash, doors, A- pillars, and sub box done for $500 in kandy red w/ graphics. but i also pulled everything did the smoothing,glassed,prep and paid for materials

I paid 200 to have my dash bezel painted my consol, door bezels,a/c vents, air bag cover, oh shit bar and speaker grills...The body shop sanded and smoothed out the grain in the plastic and did coats of base and two coats of clear...I got hooked up they over quoted on a suburban the same color for insurnace repair and they had a crap load of paint left over to do my job.
