Selling your truck

He must of ask his wife if he could bag his truck and she said no that is a waste of money you will never get your money back out of it so now he is mad and hateing on everyone else

mine kelley blue books for 14k and im only asking 19k and if someone doesnt want to spend alittle extra money then they can just go buy a stock truck and try building if for only 5 or 6 grand and see how far that gets them.. huh maybe wheels???

ill just throw my opinion in here as well.. i dont have an exact amount of how much i have into my toyota, but its between 30-40 thousand including original price of the truck.... i havent paid any shops to touch it besides the paint and upholstery... i spent 5 1/2 years total building it...that was busting my own knuckles and living paycheck to paycheck living at home just to fund building a showtruck, now i wanna sell it for 20gs, u think im willing to sacrifice all the TIME not to mention $ and dedication and all the pros and cons that come with building a truck and sell it for a dirt cheap price? think again! i used to think your way... but until u have built a full show truck(and i dont know if u have or not) u wont ever understand..... just my 2cents...

As true as that is though, you might not ever get 20K for it, even though you have double that and countless hours into the build. Like said earlier, its worth what someone is willing to pay.

at one point i was trying to sell both my s10s and paint matchd burban on 20s with trailer for 22k and i thought that was fair but people always have to voice there opinion,trying building a show truck yet a frame off show truck or two for any where near that

its people like 4twnty that make trying to sell a modified vehicle impossible, you have a truck worth 10k in stock trim with 15k in mods and he offers you 9k, he must have lowballed the sh** out of someone and they turned him down and now hes pissed

he makes sense to me. Like buying wheels/tires 1500-2000.00, interior, stereo etc. you might be able to sell a set of used 22 in wheels for a few hundred bucks now a days, Do you remember the red xtra cab S-10 with silver flames that got cover of MT mag a few years back he only got like 11000 or 12000 for it. Its what someone is willing to pay for a cover truck that has been seen and showed many of times. You might be cool around town but not at a show "my 2 cents"
