lets see some tandem axle setups

Built in 1988, two mazda shortbeds. bed is 8 ft long inside.

there was a minitruckin many years ago that had tech article on doing it on a nissan ill see if i can find it.If not i'm sure lucky_brew will have the issue

badass idea. use a divored transfer case with a midget shifter arm locked into place.

hey d ruler I am using a longbox and cutting up my shortbox and stretching it that much more. yea it seems really long but the cab will be much longer too. Its going to be something along the lines of that mazda but not as long, mabye. my longbed is 88" now and it will be stretched another 30" or so with the new wheel well opening. The cab will be stretched so it is porportional to the bed. The wheels will be centered in the middle of the bed so it looks right. Thinking of mabye doing a dual supra irs now.

are you relocateing the drive axle?

using longbed fronthalf upfront and out back with the fenderwell section out of my shortbed. unless I can get somekind of crazy driveshaft made to put power to both axles then I guess only the front wil have power. I would like both to have power so I can get the 325hp to the ground a little better from my new engine.22re turbo.
