im stupid and dont know how to post pics but the truck in my prifile is unibodied and we didnt change any of the mounts we ran a shitload of tubing to make a inner structure to attach the bed and the cab. its hard to explain but it works the truck has been together for 5 years and no problems,it is getting a complete makeover now and should be at scrapin the coast

I havent seen one that lasted any length of time, Extensives blue one at SEMA this year (which by the way was badass) was already cracking out and it was JUST done... Even the old unibody Fords always have cracks in them... JMO... tighten the gap instead and still have a useable truck

Chris Lee's truck has been unibodied for years. I don't think he drives it a lot, though.

my truck was unibodied and un unibodied at one time i had a blow thru in mine so i used some u shaped 16 gauge to do the inside and for the out side i used a 1.5" strip of 16 gauge down the seams to mold it shut but my trucks cab was shifted back during the bodydrop process so it was a small gap and never had any cracking issues and i had a ton of weight in the bed and it was a vert at ont point

Josh, No1lower, truck was unibody at one point in its life. Might want to check with him.

My truck is basically unibodied just didnt fill the gap. The plate from the floor to the bottom of the bed is 1/8" steel. There are 1/8" C steel plate wrapped from the cab to the bed connecting the two.

For the supercrew. The bedsides are fiberglass and the cab is steel. Not sure if you can do it without cracking.
