First Tattoo?

Oh yeah and REALLY look around for an expensive/quality shop! It's there FOREVER and if it's done right and taken ccare of right, it won't hardly fade at all and will stay nealy as clear if not AS clear as the day it was fully healed. My favorite artist thats done work on me is backed up at least 4 months and charges $140/hr, and even when other tattoo artists see it they just stare at it for days trying to figure out exactly how he does his work, he kills it.

And as far as feeling like a razor blade- I WISH!

Mine felt like he was goin at it with a paper clip just goin crazy for 4 hrs or so on a 5" area of skin

Make sure you heal it properly and wear sunblock on it when it's exposed. I saw a guy that had sleeves that were 25 years old that looked fresh like he just got em, he just always kept sun block on em and they stayed sharp

personal opinion....dont get it on your back because you never get to see it. i got a c10 on my back between my shoulder blades. did not hurt.....but i always forget about it being there. got my left arm done from shoulder to almost elbow (japanese floral & betta fish) did not hurt until the 4th hour on my betta fish but it is the inside of the arm and like someone said earlier the more they rub and rub thats what hurts. my right leg is done from ankle to top of schin and i fell asleep during them. back to back days of 5 hour sittings. got my daughters name across my stomach . it did not feel to good near my ribs. going t omorrow for some touch up on my arm and to start on my betty boop rib cage. i can cover mine up with a regular t shirt.......

make sure whatever you gt will flow with the other shit you will inevitably (sp?) end up getting!

im currently about 500.00 into laser and acid removal to get mine lightened so that i can get them recovered in a more PLANNED manor...

also, look at EVERY fukin tat artist you can find within 200 miles of your house.

also, make sure the artist has been at that shop or in your area for a while -

reason being? could you imagine having air syndicate paint 1/4 on your truck then have the guy at the mall who does tshirts try to finish it?

he speaks the truth, im also in the process of getting a large tat (i got when i was 18)faded so i can go over it with something more planned.

my first tat was on my leg and that bitch hurt, i never moved at all i just cussed when she hit the outline over and over when doing the coloring, i know it still was sore for couple of hours but i used some kind of ominent for the first 3 days then lotion afterwards. my buddy just had a sleeve done and he hasnt put anything on it and it healed like no tomorrow and looks badass

i got a rope around around my throat and that was probably the worst one ever and i have my ribs and hands done which hurt like a bitch. for your first tat stick with like your upper arms cuz they aint shit to do

Ya I had my first done last week but it was just the outline so far. It didn't hurt and its on the upper arm. I am going back next week to have it finished.

i got kenntih howards (von dutch) fling eye in between my shoulder blades and i would not say it didnt hurt it just felt like taking a hot needle and draggin it on my skin and after about 10 min it went numb and could not really feal a whole lot and i to forget i have it sometimes cuz i cant see it
