GAS STRIKE

60% of American gas companies are owned by mutual funds. The more money the gas companies make, the more money people that have 401k's, ira's, and other retirement accounts have. The key to lower gas prices is using our own natural resources in Alaska, off the continental shelf, and others, build more refineries, and eliminate taxes on gas. If these steps are taken, I can see gas prices cut in half within 5 years.

one fact that hasnt been mentioned...I dont give a damn how news anchors say it...NO country PRODUCES oil. As far as people who work in the oil or gas indusrty being out of work if we go to alternatives, the other source will create jobs. Our best bet now is to reduce our dependancy on oil AND foriegn labor. I know that will not be easy.

^^^ he has a point oil isn't produced it is a natural resource what were paying for is the labor of foreigners. Why don't we just make all cars run on hemp seed oil NORML did it and they drive the fucker everywhere.. I would definately drive something I could make my own fuel for or for that matter we could all get stihls and make our cars run on moonshine like in the old day...

guess im a lucky one live five blocks from work and have a hard time trying to use 20 bucks in gas a week but i dont really go cruizing main street for hours on end ether but i do feel bad for people who work out of town like my father in law i am letting him drive my caddy and he is using about 15 bucks in gas a day to go to work and home

Bush wants us to cut the amount of gas we use.....
The best way to stop using so much gas is to deport 11 million illegal immigrants!
That would be 11 million less people using our gas. The price of gas would come down.....
Bring our troops home from Iraq to guard the Border....
When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the border, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Iraq ..
Tell him if he wants to come to America then
he must serve a tour in the military....
Give him a soldier's pay while he's there and tax him on it.....
After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defended this country.....
He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot.....
This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a solution for the troops in Iraq and the aliens trying to make a better life for themselves..
If they refuse to serve, ship them to Iraq anyway, without the canteen, rifle or ammo.....

I don't know enough about economics and all that, but I know SOMEONE does, and should teach everyone what we have to do to make prices go down...by the look of the chart it was dubya...which I guess would mean theres really NOTHING we can do...??
