How much would you charge?

I have a buddy that asked if he could park his Yukon in my garage for three months. He is moving to Chicago for the summer and wants his truck at inside storage and would rather leave it with me than some random person. He offered to pay me for it and told me to come up with a number, but I have no idea how much to charge him. Its not like its an inconvenience to me to keep it but I love having my Tahoe in the garage during the summer in FL to keep it cool. I told him I would need a key to it so I could move it out of the way for other stuff to get out of the garage. Any ideas on how much I should charge and the reason I should charge that much.

I stored a vehicle at a storage unit for a few months once. Cost me about 4 bucks a day. It was stored inside and locked up.

call some storage places & see what they'd charge & go from there...

i would say a couple hundred. maybe....O i dont no like 300! that way it would come out to 100 a month, im sure a storage palce woule charge more then that, but then again ive never paid to store anything so i could be wrong. but ive like the guys above me he paid 4buck a day that would still come out to more the 300 for 3 months!

Don't charge him anything and keep a favor from him in your back pocket. You may need him later to help you move or something.

There is an idea lol. I pay $107 a month for my 10x30 where my truck stays when its not at the body shop. But I also have alot of other crap in there lol.

i was paying $60 at my apartment for a 10x20 garage, i would do $50 since u are friends, u never know when u'll need a favor

I would do it for free if it were a shorter time but three months is a while. I called a storage place and they wanted 6 a day so I think Ill cut him a deal and just do it 50 a month.

if hes a buddy do it for free
