keep your eyes open, i got a dewalt chop saw at a garage sale 10 years ago for 10 BUCKS. I just have to replace the brushes sometimes for 7 bucks. good luck

My brother-in-law bought one of the Harbor Freight ones when we built his truck. The first one died a few minutes after we took it out of the box. The second one is still kicking. Norther Tool has a band saw that is really good. It is set up just like a chop saw for around $150ish.. I tried a skill saw with a cut off blade, and it does work. Just have to be "graceful" with it. You might need that leg later if you don't.
