dead battery with door poppers oh crap

I have a cable running into the fender well...works fine except for if the truck is locked (i didnt have poppers, I had a window module to roll the windows down with my viper alarm) i learned the hard way (arming the alarm locks it, and rolls the windows up) when i left my dome light on...had to pry open the ex. cab window (97 silverado), undo the hinge and unscrew the window from the inside...then climbed in over teh sub box hah...

so put a cable (bicycle cable) just dont lock your truck! relocating the battery or terminals are good too

hey guys, can anyone tell me how to run another hood release inside the wheel well or under the rad like some have said?

also, how do you run a door popper cable from the wheel well?

i need this just in case, i dont usually let my battery die, but sometimes shit happens. i've had to break in my back window and crawl my skinny ass inside a few times. hopefully i dont start gaining weight or ill have to break it!

i found out that the 08 f-250 and 04 up f-150 have a kick ass hood realease setup, the 08 f-250 release is right next to the headlight and its like a complete unit so im going to get one to use as my hood release since i left my comps on one night and it about killed my battery than god for my alarm going off i would have never known about my battery
