Barely Legal

Okay here's the deal I ordered control arms from them over 7 months ago. I paid them in full and I still havn't received the lower control arms. And when I call they either don't answer the phone, which is cool because I realize they are probably busy but when I do get a hold of them they always say oh we are just waiting on the spherical bearing and we will ship them to you in a couple of days. Well needless to say they are still waiting on the bearings. Has anyone else had this problem out of them?

Dude I beleve I read in there Flat plate control arms thread That taylor said hell just refund you money. Take the refund he offered and stop dealing with them if you have had such a bad experence. Be thankful they are still around and you didnt get burned like every one who ordered from Mike at BYC.

Im not trying to start a hate thread. Just my personal opinion.

yeah bro i had the same probs with them. they kept tellin me they shipped them and they were comin bla bla. then they told me oops we forgot to send them bla bla. then they were gonna give me some free stuff bla bla. then i was waiting on the free stuff bla bla. finally just came down to gettin my money back like three months later. haha. thats what i suggest you do.

p.s. i think taylor erased the forum on wich i was updating my progress. oh well.

couldn't have said it any better. although he was talking about dave not this guy. but still it seems like if its just 2 people that are having problems i'd take that as a good sign, since its just a 2 man operation they are running not to mention how affordable they are making parts. i just think people need to calm down and chill. there needs to be more companies out there like barely legal that are making affordable parts. so if they are treatin you that bad put a stop payment on your card, and get your money back. i'm sure taylor won't have a problem getting some haters off his back. so everyone needs to stop drinkin and chill out.

^^^I disagree 7 months is pretty bad man come 1-2 months later me personally i would be getting mad but for them to give the run around im sure thats why hes pissed cause if i was told they are coming and they dont id get pretty pissed let alone 7 months later you still dont have them. it would be diffrent if maybe month #2 they said man we expected those bearing and they still havent made it we just arnt sure when they are gonna come let me refund you and when we get the bearings do a re order and your on priority

Well if thats all true what you just said Taylor then I will be waiting for them to get to me. But I did call three times within a three hour period. So unless your phone number on your website is wrong then you should have got the calls. But I don't know because it never did go to a voicemail. I didn't start this thread to be a hate thread. I got the uppers from yall and hell yall do some amazing work. But come on man 7 months? Hell I would have been happy if yall would have just said hey man we ordered the bearings and we have no earthly clue when they will come in. But yall kept telling me that they would been in by the end of the week. That went on for about a month and a half. If you were in my position you would feel like that was a run around if there ever was one. But like I said I'll be waiting for the package to hit the door.

i agree if it was a one off arm it takes time but if that was the case in deed then that would have been discuss that the arms will take a long time when he ordered them lol

ill ask you now your on the thread s10 upper and lowers? have them in stock or easily made how long are we talking i was gonna order some like a month ago but thats when the other thread was going on where he didnt get his stuff and i was hesitant and i replied asking about them then but no one got back with me

its been four months for mine when i was told 4-6 weeks. ive been told just about every story on earth including the waiting for bearing story, the they were already shipped story , the theyre stuck in customs from china story and the oh so popular youll get them in a day or two. i dont hate on anyone but ill admit i got boned hard . didnt get my valve brackets (oh yeah they were supposedly drop shipped from gauge) my "custom made" air tanks were scratched to hell and back and one looked like it had a small caliber bullet shot at it, my"viair" dual 480s came from air lift, dont really know if there is a difference, my lower arms came in at around the 11th week with no bushins sleeves were too small and werent raised 2" like i specified so truck probably wont lay on 24s anyway, and to top it all off, on thurs i come home to a box that i thought were my tubular uppers, but to my surprise i got my factory uppers sent back to me. and all of this was at a cost of 1800 some odd dollars maybe they got tired of hearing from me every other day but hey im trying to find out where my moneys at. so although they do some nice work i sure as hell wouldnt recommend going thru them

anyways its been a week since i was promised a refund. i know it takes time and all but damn they took the money before i walked inside the house and got on the computer and checked the bank account. lol. just like to keep people updated. since the other thread i was bitching on got deleted. ha.

wonder if i will ever get my money back???
