These things are hideous. Some are actually done well though. Very clean, (ugly exterior and interior) but clean, suspension is incredably (SP?) strong, engines are sick, wheels are hideous but very LARGE, systems are crazy loud...but I still just don't get why. To each their own. I personally can't stand them. Then you get those ones that are all together just a hazard to be on the road. Suspension being half ass is the main thing. Look like they are going to tip over at any corner. But hey like I said, to each their own.

i havnt seen any alchohol themed ones yet... but they do have some pretty rediculous shit riding around... bounty, charmin etc...

I got caught off of Bankhead (yes the rap song bankhead) after dark in my Isuzu one night and absolutely had to stop for gas and thought I was about to get mugged by a bunch of guys in donks (skittles, lucky charms, and spongebob to be exact) and they actually just wanted to look at the spacecab and were some of the most laid back guys I'd ever met and I stood in the middle of the ghetto for like 20 minutes as we all checked out each others rides. thats how most of the guys are around here as well that ride donks. black, white, yellow, or blue if they are putting money into their rides, regardless of where the money is coming from, they are still doing basically the same as all you minitruckers.... putting money into your ride. so just because you don't like what they are doing is no reason to hate.

Its really weird that you all hate on these guys because most of the ones that come in my shop LOVE mini trucks.... I dont know why though.

I cant stand the style of these cars but I will give respect to ANY well built custom. The problems I see with these vehicles is the same I see with alot of other "customs"- people who dont know crap, doing a driveway build and hitting the roads with an unsafe crap pile on big chrome rims. Then you got the guys who are doing it right, paying for or building beefed up suspensions, brakes, etc. I believe most of you think of donks as the crap pile that cruises wal-mart parking lot blasting music through a crappy P.A system from an ice cream truck while his subs sound more like boots in a dryer then crisp bass, and the brakes scream every time he attempts to stop., rolling on rims that cost more than the car would ever be worth.

OK, I guess that even though it is a form of CUSTOMIZING everyone has something to say about it. Every since people began customizing cars, you have people that ask why? I just don't get the whole criticism thing. If They want to put 26" rims on a car , so be it! What gives any of us the right to talk about what ANY one is doing with his ride? I could care less about what anyone says about my trucks. Dammit man, just worry about your ride and keep it moving. Please end this thread soon!!!!

I won't talk shit because someone lifts a car for 30's or whatever they like. But, I can't sit here and pretend painting a car like a box of frosted flakes isn't fucking retarded. I like and respect all types of customs, but that doesn't mean i have to like every custom car.
