it's hard to tell from a video. it could be about anything without being there...but i've seen a lot of things cause that type of noise. loose flywheel bolts, bad throwout bearings, etc. i'd pull the valve cover off first & check all the valve lashes, & timing chain, & fuel pump eccentric (SP?) & if it's not any of those, it will have to come out if it's anything else...

i put a screwdriver to the V/C and listened through my hand/the screwdriver. it knocks at all rpms, but it REALLY knocks at about 2000 or so. I read quite a few places that if it is in fact a rod, or spun bearing thats the range its going to get loud.
i've accepted it needs a rebuild, so I am going to go about that, and find the culprit when I open it up.

its hard to say from the video. but its not the t-chain to deep of a sound. sound more like a loose rod to crank noise. rod bearing and rods go out all the time

my truck sounded like that too. i pulled off the vaccum booster line and sucked some seafoam thru it poured it in my oil and in my gas tank and it stopped. worth a try... worked for me

mine sounded kinda like that. when i pulled the oil pan off there were pieces of the rod in the bottom.
