To me that sounds like you spun a bearing.I had an s-10 with a 2.0 engine and when the bearing went south i sounded like that.Dropped the pan and found out that it was the main bearing that crapped out.I see a engine rebuild in your future or you may get lucky and just have to replace the bearings but thats if you did not hurt the crank.

i think after hearing that you will be boring it 30 ova, wow.

Now from that video it was just at idle right????

I think you have a bearing problem bad, sorry, but im a chevy guy, lol, i havent looked at any 22r motors or what not, so forgive me.

BUT

if you can drain the oil out in a pan, but were you can be able to examine the oil. if you are capable, as again i am not aware of those motors, but if you can, drop the oil pan and look at your bearings from the crank, you may be able to indicate just by looking at them, were your problem is, also if you are able to drop your pan, slowly, and i mean SLOWLY turn the crank, and check each chamber to see if you can see any digs, scratches, or anything that seems to be damamged.

but more than likely from what it sounds, that engine needs an overall hall, it might be better or worth it to you to drop in a 350 at this time, sometimes you can get one pretty cheap, but thats up to you

good luck man

also, as you already stated, you said you THINK this happened when you put your new carb on and it was opened all the way and at full throttle????

because if thats the case, you could have also just tapped the shit out of your heads....

its getting a rebuild. if the head needs work, it will get work. im not against just rebuilding it. I can do it for like 800 bucks and Z the frame while it's out. I just wondered what the noise was. I don't think it beat the hell out of the head, as I had pushed the truck a bit before with no worries. I thin it just hit that point and spun a bearing.

That video is at idle up to i'd say 2500 rpm. It's not high rpm's at all. I wouldn't put a 350 in anything that I owned, even a chevy
