I can appreciate the design and the amount of work that has gone into it, but that front axel is only few inches off the ground at all times.

atleast 6 inches... there are trucks out there that thier crossmembers dont even lift above that amount...

I couldnt tell you how it rides, I think pat was gonna have some problems with lift up front using the control arms, so he just did that, as far as benefits of using a straight axle vs control arms, LIFT
