There seems to be a lot of guessing and speculating. If the front tires cambered at all the wheel would lift on edge and hit the hood. I also have $1000.00 worth of new control arms and spindles trying to modify the stock suspension to work. If we just wanted to load it on a trailer and drive it around the show then the IFS I had on there would have worked. So after 200 hours of work I cut it off and threw it in the trash and decided a straight axle is the only way to get enough lift and actully daily drive it without buying tires once a month. As for the handling, the ball joints are off-set to change the camber when the wheels are turned. The harder the turn the more the camber. Fellas there is still alot of work to be done. I could have just left it in the garage and brought it out when it was finished, but I decided to take to some close shows and share it with some fellow truckers that could respect it. Your entitled to your opinion as am I. But I have a resume 20 years deep and countless covers, feature, records, and titles. I don't need lie to kick it.
AND IT DOES HAVE A 5 INCH BODY DROP SO WE CAN RUN 30 AS SOON AS WE CAN AFFORD THEM. If you go to the myspace page(
www.MySpace.com/qualitycollision) and look at the chassis you will see the frame has a 2 inch peace of channel welded to the bottom. This is so we can cut off the rocker and not have to worry about the ground messing up the bottom of the doors on uneven pavement. This truck has every stock option it came with right down to the AC and all the emission equipment. Love it or hate......
