You like this one check out the ITB coverage thread. IMO you opened a can of worms bringing your project to a show in that state. You say you slapped it together for the show, but at the same time feel you deserved that best engineered award? The pics speak for themselves man. I have a hard time believing you planned to redo all that work.
http://www.streetsource.com/forum/topic.aspx?whichpage=1&pagesize=15&forum_id=46&topic_id=104782No I said I slapped the front bag set up together not the truck and had to spot weld the bed on. 3 weeks before ITB it was at Southern Showdown with a mono bag set up in the front and this weekend it will be at Midwest Mayhem with yet another front bag set up. So yes it was just temporary. I'm sorry if I can build something like that for a weekend and just cut it up when I get home. Don't hate congradulate. It ain't nothing but some round tube and mig wire. I built the whole front set up in 4 hours. Is this rookie night?????
Maybe it is rookie night because anyone with some experience should know what people are going to think when they see work like that displayed proudly at shows. Especially when you plaster the thing with stickers like everyone should be bowing down to Pat Fuken Burke. Stick to lowriders or else be prepared to have negative comments made when you proudly display work like that. Temporary or not, it doesn't bode well for you or your business and neither does your 'fuck you I'm Pat Burke' attitude.
I'm not trying to start a war. I really hope that work is temporary and I will gladly congratulate you on a job well done if the finished product is something worth being congratulated on. So far its a cobbled together setup and I can't see how you are surprised by peoples reaction to it and your attitude.
