If you can't find a cowl hood make your own man and those air cleaners are badd ass but not worth the $250 big ones.

look up seth (twistedminis) on here. he is a toyota guy. but he has some great pictures and advise on rebuilding a stock pan. i would personally raise the front area of one so you can get the engine closer down over the crossmember. then also shorten the rear sump (and pickup if needed), but kick it out wider. as much as possible. more oil is never bad in an engine. because a shorter pan has less oil. make it wider to gain that back.

I have a summit finned aluminum oil pan, torker II intake, barry grant carb, and cut down billet specialties air cleaner and stock hood with transdapt motor mount brackets and V6 mounts. That is with the cab slid back 1" too which made it worse. Got mabey 1/4" before it hits the stock hood and 1/2" from the drain plug to the ground laid out. Ive seen bd trucks run that air filter you have too. And I would go ahead and run an electric pump to give you more room up front. Don't sweat it, its an s10

Stock intake manifolds are shorter than any aftermarket I have seen.
