Some of you, that have been around awhile will remember Ekstensive did probably one of the first, if not the first F-350 in '98. I know Bill has done many more since, so I guess that would kind of make him a expert on it? I'm sure he wouldn't have any problem sharing knowledge on the subject with those who need it. For those who don't need it, disregard this post. Goodluck with your truck, bro.

No it wasn't Brent's truck. Mike Farmer did Brent's truck. The truck i'm refering to was owned by Randy Welsh, a friend of mine. It was a black f-350 crew cab that I origally bagged, then we decided to go further with it, so I sent it to Bill to have the front clip converted to Chevrolet and for the truck to be bodydropped. Randy later lost intrest in the truck, it then got back burnered and it sat for a loooong time. Pin Cushion bought it 2 or 3 years ago and i've been waiting to see it resurface but it hasn't yet. I'm sure sooner or later it will, but I don't believe it will ever have the impact it would have if it had been completed like we had envisioned it to be in late '98 or early '99. I believe there was a few pop shots of it in Streettrucks back in '99 from LFT in Lake Charles.

I'd probably go with a Chevy front clip myself unless you were wanting to do something one off.

I remember the black chevy at THW in 99 or 00, definately sick.

What about the older duallys, like the 87-97? I know the same year f150s have I beams and not too many of them converted over to a chevy clip and most of them seem fine.

u have to raise the motor and trans trans pan hangs below the frame, but i dont think the the motor will clear the hood(diesal) unless you clipped it. with a chevy clip of course lol.
