i have a 94 honda accord. the front end is makin alot of noise so i replaced both cv axles, upper and lower ball joints both sides, sway bar bushings both sides, struts both sides, wheel bearings both sides, inner and outer tierod ends both sides, and had the front end aligned. it still is making noise it is makin a squillin noise that sounds like brakes but i replaced those also and usualy if it is brakes when u push the brake pedal the noise changes but the noise stays consistant it dont change. also when i hit the brakes 2 slow down a lot pop noise happens sounds like someone hit the fire wall with a hammer. i also replaced all motor mounts. anyone ever had this trouble be4 what could it be? someone please help it is drivin me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My prelude makes those exact same noises, and it only does it when the car is hot and the temperature is hot. I figured it was a bushing or tie rod end.

did you replace just the cv joints or the entire axle? also, where they cheap autozone axles?

my moms car had that issue and then i bought the entire axles from a local axle rebuild shop (clinards drive axles in nashville) and no more issues!

Just a dumb question, but is the heat sheild rubbing the rotor, or is there something stuck in between the two causing the squealing?? Also, sure it is not a belt or the starter or alternator??

i was thinking heat shield also. they are thin and can bend super easy..

Bump on the backing plate hitten the rotor & check the belts spray some WD on them see what happens is it a 5 spd or auto trans...poss input shaft bearing on 5 spds go out and diff bearings on the auto... the pop noise sounds like the caliper might be loose...

Also check the dist they make a nasty squeel when the bearing goes bad but usualy they run like crap and have a check engine light...
