the bolt holes line up. they just have to be perfect. the best way to do it is to drill the holes out on the rod and the arm to a 1/2 inch holes and install new 1/2 bolts instead of the 12mm stock ones

^^^^Thanks bobby,.....is there a special trick to geting the holes lined up perfectly?

I cant seem to get them lined up to save my life, the angle of the strut rod is way off when I move it to the bottom of the lca.....

I even tried bolting the lca to the strut rod, and then bolting the strut rod up to the frame but it's far from lining up, I even tried to force it into place with a jack (I got close but no cigar lol)

how much of a difference does it really make using 1/2" bolts instead of 12mm factory ones?....that kinda seems like alot of work and I don't see how it would help? (not being a dick or anything bro, I just don't understand)

sorry for the million trivia questions,....I really do appritiate your help though

Well since I can't figure out this strut rod issue YET,....I decided to put the suspension back together and mount up the wheel to see how low she sits without relocating the strut rod under the lca.........

^^^^Well she sits pretty damn low, but on perfectly level ground I'm sure it probly it won't lay....I dunno, this is alot of work for a damn painter though

looks to me like it will lay on level ground i would tear it apart and rebuild it again just for a 1/4 inch or so i made the mistake of taken the cylinders off my wagon and changing to bags i did the back in 5 hours and got 14 inchs of lift intead of 6 but i doubt the front will be done so long story short take it to ///RA like that it looks awesome maybe u can drive the wagon while were there see if u like it

the strut rod should twist and the bolts will only line up at a certain point within the lca travel. if not you may need to loosen the strut rod from its front mount. the reason i put 1/2 bolts in the arms is because metric grade 8 bolts or higher grade are hard to find at that length and instead of waiting a week for special ordered bolts i just use 1/2. if you can fine 12mm grade 8 or higher fine thread then cool.
