good hauler/ daily?

i have a 90 burb with 5.7 lowered on 20s and it tows like a champ and its the best tent i ever bought !! get like 15 towing

i tow with dad's 98 chevy z71 1500. it's got the 396 turbo diesel 6.5L with the 4l80 transmission.

gets like 18 hwy unloaded and with the 16' trailer and the '86 it gets around 15 mpg. So smooth I don't even know it's back there.

I have a 1999 gmc 1/2 extened cab 2wd and i get between 18-20 mpg.It has the 5.3 with 3.73 gears i love this truck.

heres my towpig/daily. 2007 crew cab dually d-max. has 22's with toyo 265/40/22's a djm 6/8 drop, resenator block off and cat and muffler delete. i get about 19 unloaded running about 80mph and 17 intown with stop and go traffic. i get between 10-13 pulling at 80 threw the hills and mountians. havent ever pulled on flat flat highway. thats with a 44fooer with 2 trucks on it.

I tow and daily my 06 Silverado 1/2 ton Crew Cab 2wd with the 5.3 V8. It has the higher 3:23 rear end so its not the fastest truck out there but it tows my 03 GMC Sierra on the 20' trailer just fine. I towed the truck to HAVOC and averaged 14.5 mpg towing. In town I've been getting right at 18mpg and out on the hwy around 22-23 mpg. I have no complaints what so ever. I traded an 00 Suburban 4wd 1/2 ton for the Silverado and it was a great move IMO. Also I drive 104 miles round trip for work that is a mix of in town and hwy and I've been getting 20mpg doin that. The only things done to the truck are a Flowmaster muffler and replacement Filter, thats it.

I use a 06 quad cab 2wd d-max on 20s with 305/75/20 and it pulls like champ. Took a 40 foot flatbed with two trucks to heatwave with no problem.

Man, I wish gas was that cheap around here! We are still pushing $4 a gallon.

shit, i wish diesel was that cheap. its 4.25 here. talk about 160 dollor fillups!

oh lets not get into the gas debate again. Im filling at $6.00 a gallon. Canada always wins.....or looses I guess.

i got the same truck as Del and i freakin love it... 5.3 l v8, 2wd quad cab short bed... mine's lifted 7in on 35s and still gets about 15-20mpg... and tows like a mo-fo...
