A 2-link will "plant" the tires to the ground under acceleration, but a 4-link will actually lift the tires off of the ground.

A 4-link is only considered a suspension design to minitruckers, there isn't a book out there that would even acknowledge it.

Max I'm confused on these 2?

i believe he meant reverse, on both of those.

holy shit! i never chime in here because im dumb when it comes to suspension. but for the record. MAX NEVER SAID 2-LINKS SUCK LOL....

and on another note. my Mitsu that max built that was on the cover had a reverse four-link and i loved it. But that was a really long time ago. Actually max bagged it in 99.

I thought so. I just hoped it was a test to see if anyone was actually reading your posts and that maybe I'd win a sweet prize. LMAO.

you can get a 2link to articulate if you can manage to get bushings on the axle end. Ford did it on the front of the early broncos from 66-77.

if im right an understand you... i did something like that to a truck that im workin on with six brushings on it in the rear an everyone on here said that that the setup has 2much stress on it, an things will bend an break, an the rear end will pull apart from the housing... so that idea is out the door, sorry bud!
