hey guys, im looking for pictures of max lift on the front of your rides. Also a few questions. Are all isuzu front suspensions the same? i.e. 92 rodeo same as 92 pup and so on. I'd also like to see the actual front set up as well to go along with the lift pic. A little much to ask in my first post but if you can help it'd be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'm not sure how much max lift you can get, I guess it depends on your set up. On my rodeo I got close to factory height of lift but it was juiced not airbagged.

Also, the front suspension on the Rodeo is completely different than a pup, not by much but set up different.

What are you doing to your Rodeo?

ah i see. Ive been looking for pictures of front setups. And the sticky at the top of the page is very helpful. Im gonna lay it out. Thats pretty much the general plan haha.

I think that the Rodeo is based off of a 4wd frame so it is harder to lay out. Im not positive on that though, just kind of what I remember.

Yeah i heard it was harder but just makes me want to do it more!

Take the smart path and swap the front clip out for either a pup or a yota if you want 5 lug. Working with the stock front clip is a waist of time... just the size of that front hub making it near imposible to find rims that fit makes the swap worth it.

Next the front cross memeber needs to be sectioned down so you can actualy get the frame close to level, then it will need a z. And there's not a lot or room for bags in the rodeo clip.

But good luck on your build... keep us posted. Leme know if you have any questions I've done a lot of the heavy mods to my rodeo frame before I threw it away.

Im limited on a budget so gotta make the stock rodeo clip work. Unless I find one dirt cheap to swap lol.

I don't think a clip would cost you more than a couple hundred bucks... much less cash than you will prob spend on you air ride... but if you realy realy want to make the rodeo clip it is possible and you can attain decent lift just be prepaired for the long haul.

Anyways have fun and post pics as you make some headway.

I got my last Toyota clip for $250 with stock and drop spindles, paid $100 before for a stock clip. They aren't that hard to come by really.

Oh really? i think ill go that route. will any year front clip work or what?
