The way I look at it is this. If you break an airline, your only loosing air...if you break a hydraulic line, your gonna spray juice all over the place and make a mess.

Look at it this way. "If" there is a hydraulic leak you aren't running all over with soap and water looking like a retard to find where it's coming from. Also, note that hydraulic hoses are heat resistant and I run them through exhaust tunnels no problem. And if you are worried about charging batteries (which is really no big deal to do anyways), then they make a street charger.

If you keep your system under 36V you shouldn't have any problems motor or electrical related. I drive over 70 miles per day commuting in my juiced ride. I worry more about my tires blowing out or the engine breaking more than I worry about my hydraulics breaking. Product is important, but a proper install is more important.

which is it? prohopper and cce have the better deals, but what about quality?

pro hopper is the only good one on that list but we build them all day and we only use SHOWTIME hydraulicsc on our vehicles including my old blue and red b2200 (b5700) which has had the same dam setup for 5 years and havent changed a thing...

prohopper is ok, they have shitty fittings that come in the kit, just keep them as spares and get parker fittings and check valves. i learned this the hard way.

the kit i just got and i am installing on my truck is a black magic settup, if you talk to lowrider guys they all will agree that they have awesome products. i dont think i would do cce, they have shitty cyliders that will blow the caps of. i would say go black magic, prohopper, or showtime.

and if you want peoples opinions i would only listen to people that have had both, or have experiance in both, not just blabing crap that they heard other minitruckers say. i still dont understand why minitruckers will do so many crazy shit with airbags but are so scared of hydraulics

Im suprised nobody mentioned soleniods locking up and catching the cables on fire or two batteries going dead when the rest are fully charged,or o rings seeping and spraying oil all over the bottom of your car when your driving because they send you cylinders manufactured by a five year old chinese girl.

If you see a killer clean setup its because the owner invested a small fortune and stays on top of the system weekly making sure everything is working proper.

With that said I would myself consider pumps, its a ride like no other.Very entertaining.

i myself am considering juice for my project....just not sure i have enough room for a bag in the front....i am worried about the negatives but have heard a lot in the way of positive recently.....i hope, if i do it, to avoid majority of leaks by using hard line on my entire setup....i am worried however that i dont know enough about it like best product, cylinder size, # of pumps....etc so here is m y ?'s

how many pumps and batt. do i need for a simple FB setup....i dont care about side to side at all.....i am also concerned about cylinder size...front just needs good lift to clear 22....but rear i want to limit since i dont want to cut to much into the passenger comparment more than i already have to.....i am looking at cce or pro hopper but now i am looking into the black magic as well.....all seem to be good......as for accumulators will i need one for each corner? i have been told to go with parker no matter what setup i do.....will 3/8's SS hard line and swagelok fittings be ok?

speed also isnt a concern so that is why i am debating this setup.....if i ran air i would be doing 2 viair 380's, 8 parkers, 3/8 hardline....so i wouldnt be spending much more than a grand on a full air setup...so is juice really going to be cheaper......i think i want to go chrome pumps and cylinders though on the juice and i know that will cost a lil more.....and i am looking for real advice...not juice is gay cuz its for lowriders advice

It's all the same stuff. I use CCE because it's in my backyard and I don't have to pay shipping. I think Pro Hopper has the best cylinders. I think the best service would come from Brent @ Pitbull though. I know what I need and what to buy so I'm not worried about the service.

Most the stuff out there is the same (pumps/dumps), yet I like prohopper comp cylinders as they are triple sealed with a polypak (type of seal with a groove which spreads out when pressurized).

Tony, although you can have everything with 1 pump, I reccommend a 2 pump 4 dump for you because if you tee off the lines you'll get some serious sway. Just don't wire in sides. And yes, you'll use an accumulator per corner. You can run 2 batteries and you'll be fine...
