A lot of reviews have the Sigma verson of that lense as better. Thats why we went with Sigma on our wide angle.

I've heard that too, but the Canon is the only one I've used.

I have a friend who uses a Sigma 6mm (I think it was) prime that he does 360 virtual tours. He takes 4 pictures, one from each axis and then his software puts them together to create a virtual image...he's doing pretty well with it too

Keep in mind thats on the fly and unedited just shows you can get a whole interior very easy.

Any Canon lens is worth the investment.Very sharp & crisp!

He's asking about a wide angle. The Sigma has better reviews vs Canons wide angle. Canons not bad though.

what sigma lense did you use?

10-20mm.

What about a fish eye lens? anyone recomend one?

what do you mean by "fish eye lens", like a screw on wide angle adapter or a lens with a lot of wide angle distortion?
