lay off the dirt weed it makes you all paranoid.

Wow, a backhanded compliment.

Thanks, apparently you do not take your own advice. I am here to help, and apparently for your amusement.

Thanks for the posting...

Joe hes probably pissed because you more or less insulted the "mods" and in reality you just over looked that the post has not changed, yet no appology from you I noticed.

Joe what are you talking about, Doug's review is 3 posts above yours.

Ugh....

Sorry Brandt.. It did not show aprox 40 minutes ago, but then again, I am getting old.

Old Dirt Bag... Thanks again

The mods haven't edited it, we cant edit something and then put it back, its either there or gone. I see DOUG edited it yesterday.

I think you over looked it....

Sorry Brandt,

But the thread is so long, and I have not found a way to get to the bottom quick enough for a fast response. I did post saying I overlooked it about 5 minutes ago, and I do not see that post either.

Thanks

Joe,
Chad here from Metal Asylum Kustom Finishes, Been a busy month but I installed the pan, fit great. For those who havent bought a pan from them lately, it was a great idea using a "blank" stamped pan and then welding in a License plate box. The only problem is that the box was welded about 3/8" off center, wouldn't notice until the hitch was in there and it looked off center, I took some measurements and found that it was the box that was off. It fit with the curve of the tailgate and it is one piece, looks great! The Hidden hitch worked great, I would move the chain hook ups to the center though, I have several trailers and NONE of them reach to where you have the chain hook-ups welded to.

I bought the spare tire relocator, but it doesn't work with the crew cab short bed. (5'8" bed) I haven't done the handle flip kit or shaved the taillights yet, I was hoping to use the tri-color LEDs that were advertised, but found out later that they will not be available.

I will keep you all posted to how everything else fits.

Hey Joe since we are talking about this review, what are you going to do to fix the compressor since it locks up and is unreliable over 87psi on restart.

The part that intrests me the most is this:

from djd's review:RESTART!

A compressor needs to restart at any time to be a reliable part of an air suspension system.

This compressor when tested would run from 0~200PSI no problems. But when I went to restart the compressor shortly after it had just shut off I found the motor would lock up. The motor would pull 117amps! Yes full locked rotor is 117amps. It held this 117amps for 6.3 seconds before the onboard circuit breaker tripped.

So the next time I waited a full 10Min before attempting a restart at 110PSI and found the compressor to still be locked.

The check valve was tested and found to be operating perfectly. The problem relied on how well I had everything sealed. The leader hose and head had no leaks so the head pressure remained in the head preventing the motor from running one cycle. It would get locked about

Thanks to Chad's posting at Metal Asylum, we CHANGED all of the Chain Mounts this morning to prevent this from happening to anyone else. This is a good thing to post on forums so we can continue to improve the product.

Thanks again

If anybody else has info that can help us and you the customer please let us know we will make the changes.

Thank you
