I've found a 4-door 67/68 lincoln (guessing at the year) body is straight, all chrome is there, and still very nice. There is just a tiny bit of surface rust on the rear fender (up near the window)

Its original paint on it still, faded... would need new paint.

Interior looks really good as well.

Just briefly talked to the owner before his phone died... and he is asking $4000 for it... is this a fair price?

I've got no idea what they are worth.

Also found a MINT extended cab dodge D50... going to try and get the price on that when I talk to the guy again tonite.

I would look around not sure how much work you want but i have bought 3 around here and i have not paid that much for all off them the last one i got was a 66 and paid 400. All of them need some body work.

You should have bought mine, i got it for $1000 and sold it for $1200 before i moved. it needed a drivers floor pan. Keep looking there are better deals to be had even in canada.

Was it running and driving? I have a buddy that has two 66s, one is very close to being able to be driven (I think it just needs the carb put on and maybe a distributor) The other is a "parts car" but is still in good shape and could be road worthy but the motor is locked. He wants to get off of them for 3 grand for the pair (exactly what he has in them).

I never realized that body style covered so many years... im not sure what year it is now... I couldn't get a hold of the guy tonite... I'll try again tomorrow to see if I can get all the details.

I'd pass at that price. You can definately find them cheaper, as long as you're wiling to wait.

I like the 61-64 front end the best but the body was essentially the same up to 68.

Up here, its not very common to come across these cars, let alone in such good shape.

The guy said he is flexible on the price... so im sure I could talk him down some.
