red interior would look decent if the car was black I think.

Im waiting on some more pics from him of the rest of the interior and the few rust spots and a shot of the trunk.

Its kinda hard to put a price on something like that. It kinda comes down to whats it worth to you. The guy I bought mine from was asking like $5,500 and I got him down to 4,500 I believe (i think he couldve gotten at least 7). When I got it home I tuned it up, changed out the muffler and carpet kit, added some 22's and drove the hell out of it for about a year before I started dumping loads of money into it. And the engine rebuild kit is around 2 g's...nowhere near 5. Or you can just take out the 462 and put in a 550 HP 460 crate motor from Ford Racing for about 6 G's!

im just sketched about the motor mostly at this point... its weird that if it is the starter that is the problem, why not replace it and sell it as a running car right? get more money that way. It really makes me want to low ball him big time on it.

Looks like the interior is in great shape!

I'd pay $3K for it.

I think I would too if the bumpers and trim are in good shape.

Its been said earlier, but putting a concrete price on a classic car is in my opinion impossible. there is no way you can compare this car to any other sold within the last 48.5 years. different mileages, different flaws, different strengths.... it all boils down to what that car is worth to you, you stated its your dream car,and it seems like a great piece to start a project on. If it were my dream too own a Lincoln and I had the money on hand to make an offer, this would be one I would consider. not even trying to hate, if it comes off that way I am sorry. just saying, these classics aren't becoming any less rare to find. if you sleep on this one who knows how long you may have to wait

No hate at all.

You are right... who knows when another will come up.

My g/f is all about the car too, she doesn't give a shit about my mazda (she actually hates it, haha) but she loves the lincoln... always helps when the g/f is down with the car too.

Im still waiting to hear back from the guy about some of my questions and a few more pics... so hopefully he gets back to me soon, the car is not in the city so its not easy for me to just go and see it again.

Just got a reply from the current owner..

"Chassis is solid, no obvious rust spots, haven't inspected too closely though.

No A/C, does have tilt, power windows, power seats, power antenna, speed control.

Drive went out of the starter, getting rebuilt.

Replaced alternator and rebuilt transmission, front seal let go, took out tranny, maybe 5000 miles on rebuild."

I've got a couple more pics as well, which I will have to post later on.
