here is a dash swap you havent seen

so, i was wondering the junkyards today between my fulltime day job and my fulltime night job (i love to work i guess...haha) lookin for a nice sunroof for my toyota. i came across an old international pickup. had to be a late 50s or mid 60s. anyways, it had a really awesome dash board. and im thinking about going and getting it tomorrow or the next day. should be there, they just put it out today and it isnt exactly the hot ticket item in the area. so, what do you guys think? looking at it, id like to reuse my headlight, wiper, climate, hazards, ect into it. as for gauges, ill look into using those ones or i have another idea up my sleeve. it involves a 3rd gen supra cluster. take it all apart, using the gauges i want as singles. make a way to have them all sit in behind circular holes or something. so it has that old style look but i wont need sending units and rewiring and crap. since its pretty much the same signals between a 7M and a 20R. but anyways, what do you guys think about it?

The whole damn truck looks clean!

They have a nice jackstand under it.

All the pull-a-parts use rims to hold the cars up.

To bad it's not at a real yard or I'd say pick up the whole truck. That's in great shape.

How does the dash look under the pad? Some don't look right once the pad is pulled off and I don't think you want the bill for a custom made dash pad after custom fitting it. I also think new gauges in that dash would look horrible.

Looks like alot of work... The 45 yr old aged vinyl might be a scary feat for you to tackle too.

well, i got most of it out today. im getting it all home tomorrow. i have some sweet ideas how to make it work. i should get started on it next week or so.
