seriously? thats sweet. got any pictures of it? i dont care if im the first, i just like that its unique. more than other stuff like 40s fords and 50s chevys. and its one of those "fell in my lap" deals. because they set the truck down next to me. haha.

and i wanna try to use those climate control balls. haha. why not right?

Hey Joe would you wanna sell that engine turned dual gauge panel thats under the dash? Would be a great period piece for my 63. With or without the gauges if you wanna keep em.

If you decide you don't want it, I do. I have the perfect project for it right now.

that came out pretty sweet. im probably going to reform the top and wrap it again. or atleast paint all of it matte. i hate the glare of a gloss dash.

and i plan to use the front edge of mine grafted to this one, so it meets the dash nice. and ill have to radius and side wall the ends. and im going to remove some of the extra holes from stuff. ill get that gauge panel for you. ill letcha know what it cost me, so i can figure out how much it'll be to get it to ya.

Oh I meant the whole dash, I don't need that Toyota cluster. I just need an oddball dash that looks cool for my Chevy.

i got the whole dash. i decided against the supra gauges. i found a 74 celica GT there today, got the gauge cluster from that. it has a tach, 120 speedo, water temp in number breakdown not letter/dash, and a gas gauge. it keeps the voltage and oil pressure as idiot lights, but in a 3rd small circle. which i like. on the speedo, it has an idiot light for "EGR" in red, so ill swap that out to be a high beam. and the speedo has a trip odometer, which i dont have. so, it should go well with it. i have a pretty good idea how im going to do all this. i think im going to get the stock am radio from that international, and put it in its original location. but ill cut off all the insides, so its just a fascia. then have that middle accent panel flip down to expose my good stereo and switches for lights, the stereo and the antenna. and down the road, the bags. and im going to make a big steel tub for the glove box since i ruined the cardboard one.

i hope to get working on it sometime this coming week, but we'll see.

oh, and i also got that engine turned lower gauge panel for the guy that wanted it. i didnt keep the gauges, or get them. they were just some SW cheapys that looked broken. but, send me 10 bucks and it will be on your way in a padded envelope.
