are Isuzu pickup's reliable?

I've been looking for a truck to bag and I like the Isuzu pickup but I've heard that they're not very reliable. And also I'd like to know how difficult it is to bag them. any info appreciated thanks

if owned 9 over the last 13 years i have put many miles on them fixed them up and sold them i like them alot

yes they are very reliable. if your not sure about the motor then just re build it. when i got mine it was on its last leg and i still got 60,000 out of it so i rebuit it and it runs stronger than ne other truck ive had. as far as bagin it it is simple just get you a torsion bag kit and what ever you want in the rear, also they will lay 20s w/ only notchin the lower arm and fliping your arms side to side.

Ive found they can be hard on headgaskets. And they arent a cheap part to buy. I found the gasket itself was more than any other car Ive owned.

ok i just checked my stock here at work and the head gasket set is only 100 bucks. thats the head gasket and all the gaskets above the head... you need to shop around..

I personally love um......Haven't had any bad luck with any of the 3 That I have.

i got a buddy that loves isuzus. hell i think he has a isuzu problem actually. newer zu's seem to be very easy to bag. the older ones are more difficult. ask cobb(bdydrppup) how hard it is to lay one out on 20s. pain in the ass. looks good in the end though.

I LOVE THE ZUS IVE HAD A LOT, HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE FUEL INJECTED ONES.
THE CARBURATED ONES ARE JUNK
