My brother has an 83 s10 bodied dropped 3.5" with 2" drop spindles and tubluar upper and lower control arms and 20" rims. The problem is that he does not get enough lift in the front to clear the 20's. All he needs is about an extra 1"-1.5" and he'll be fine. So should he run a triple stack bag in the front or what can he do to solve this problem. I know that he is running a slam specialty 2500 in the front and I cant remember what size but I know they are re's. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

he's saying take the drop spindles out.... in order to do that, you need to have the slack in the bag to accomidate so it will still lay. orrrr you can see if your bag is all the way compressed when layed out now.. if not then there is some added lift your missing out on. also have to consider this... why is he not getting enough lift... is he binding up anywhere? cant get enough pressure to the bag to get enough lift? id the bag completly inflated? i couldnt get enough lift on my truck either but thats because my balljoints were binding.. shit i had 150 psi in the bag but it wasnt going anywhere from about 80-150 then i realized it was the upper balljoint that was kicking my butt.

run 2600 bags

1low02dakota- I thought about putting the stock spindles back in it but then he wouldn't lay out.

Pascal- Yeah the bag is completly compressed. However I havn't thought about checking the ball joints at full lift. If we take out the drop spindles how do you accomidate for it to still lay.

Minitrucker04- If he runs a 2600 it will rub on the lower control arm when he adjust the suspension.

If you have aftermarket uppers and lowers they are ussually made to lay out on a 22 with a drop spindle. you should be able to lay on 20s with a stock spindle no problem.

To run a 2600 you'll have to clearance your spring pockets. it should clear the a-arm.

The 2500 that are on there right now are really close to the a arm so I really dont know about running a 2600, but maybe the bag maybe positioned wrong. We didn't do the suspension work one of our buddies did it so I'll have to look at it a little more closely and maybe I can move a little to get litte more room to see if he can run a 2600. I guess I might throw the stock spindle back on there since the majority are saying that the drop spindles are the problem. Thanks alot guys

Juice it!

No he doesn't really like juice no offense but he just really like the sound of the bags laying out. But yeah juice would help him a lot
