jmzcustomz: did you have a notarized bill of sale or did you just type one up... I'm like the third owner without having the title so... Seeing what you did

I do not have a notorized as that would mean that we would have had to have a notorer there with us. Just a bill of sale from the last person on the registered title. This will match what the police see when they run the VIN number. I am a little spoiled and had my pops run the VIN so that I could make sure it checked out. He is a police officer.

Btw where is Magnolia at?

yea vin swaping is illegal because the pop rivets arent the same ones you buy at the local hardware store there special because if changed they will know that you changed it

here in Indiana, you call a cop up and pay him $10 to run the VIN and as long as it comes back clear he will give you a slip for the BMV, go there and pay for a lost title and they will contact the last registered owner and have him sign a paper releasing it to be re-titled..takes about 6 weeks....
