He may be a suit full of hot air for all I know but if he can bring the country closer together then there's gotta be hope something good may come of it. Its also bodes well for him that he has global support unlike McCain which was viewed as another Bush world wide.

just a little something i read the other day...the thing that made the Great Depression so great was the government trying to fix the economy by throwing money at it..if the government had let the economy run its course it would have just been a depression, the governments interference is what made it "The Great Depression"

Tony is correct, us republicans brought this on ourselves by re-electing bush for a second term. But is that a good reason to elect a president who doesn't have much experience?? We elected obama for all the wrong reasons. Hopefully he proves us all wrong. But like someone else said, he should at least be better than bush.

From what I understand he was raised muslim but then decided to go to a racist church that he was only visitng for 20 yrs. The economy was started by the Clinton Administration in 1999 wanting everyone to be equal when it comes to owning a home and just now hit the fan causing everyone to point the finger at Bush. Its not that great when a national news channel is so pro Obama and then when he's elected they say well hope he's as good as he says he is cause we really dont know anything about him.

When another Dem. party states the McCain would bring alot of experience to the office with his backgroung and that Obama would bring a speech he used back in 2002, its just not that assuring for me to choke down that this man could this country any good. All I can say is I went out and voted and tried to make a difference.
