With comments like "plus i like to say i cut up a fairly new, perfectly good car" who the heck knows what it will end up looking like???? Maybe you are just going to throw some pinch molding around the cut and call it good. I would like to see the area that you welded theat new top plate to after a couple thousand miles. It doesn't look like a strong enough area to hold up the car + you didn't reinforce it with anything (from looking at the pics). I don't mean to sound harsh, but it looks like a hack job. Maybe if you finish it off nicely it will look good, but I would have never posted that picture, because now every knows what it looks like underneath, no matter how you finish it.

i see there is no joking allowed here. its not finished, and i said that in an earlier post. it looks bad because all i could use to cut was a plasma and i had to leave the stock tower in to get the angle the same. saying that i souldn't have posted that pic doesnt make sense. thats like telling someone not to post a pic o Zing a frame until its done cause the cut looks bad. evrything has been cleaned up on the drivers side. this better be a strong enough place to hold up the car cause that is what was holding up the stock tower. they were "progress pics" not finished pics here is what it looks like now. im only able to work on the car a few hours a week so when i post pics its all i had done so far. i will post the pics of the towers when i take some. and as requested ill post pics in a few thousand miles of the welds   the towers are now gusseted on each corner and there is a 2" flat bar from the stock tower to the new one on the outer edge   the frame now is .25" of the ground and the rocker is 1.5" it can go another inch by using the lower holes on the mount. now i just need to get it alligned

Lets see the lift. Just curious what you will get out of that bag.   I got the joke, that it wasn't done yet. It just looks scary, like I said though maybe when it is done it will look presentable. The car overall looks cool layed out though.

the lift is pretty sad. the bags are pretty small. i didnt take measurements but its about 4". @ 110psi the tire is about an inch from the fender. i wish the rockers weren't so much taller than the frame. from the side it still looks pretty high

ok so now what should i do. i want to get the back lower, but if i lay unibody in the rear i will need to Z the 2 link. is it worth it to z it or should i just notch the frame 1.5" and get the rocker level?
